It is now essential for every treatment plant to have a device that removes solid particles, thus protecting equipment (pumps, valves, aerators, removers) and preventing deposition in pipes, channels, and tanks.
The hydrodynamic sieve or static sieve differs from other models due to its simple construction, as it does not have moving parts, fittings, or parts that produce movement. This model is extremely practical, high-yielding, and cost-effective. At the inlet of the effluent into the equipment, there is an overflow box where it receives the raw effluent, pouring it onto the filtering element which is the stainless steel screen (can be modified according to customer needs).
The liquid part of the effluent passes through the screen and is captured by a tray positioned at the bottom of the equipment. The solids are retained on the screen, which is built with a curvature that allows the residues to be drained and eliminated, being taken to the solids gutter. This type of sieve promotes self-cleaning, solid retention occurs through the effect of liquid flow in the sieving process.
